9th Grade Crosby Club Meeting #1 – “Getting to Know Each Other” Introductions and Welcome!

Meeting #1 will be from 2:15 pm to 2:45 pm in Room U125. Are you curious why you should start planning for college now? Would you like to learn more about career  options? Types of degrees to pursue? Why should you be more involved with extracurricular activities? Why should you take challenging classes in high school? Why it’s important to keep that GPA up? Our staff will share positive personal, social and education experiences with those who attend the meetings. They help Crosby Scholars achieve their post-secondary goals by leading discussions on grade-appropriate topics focused on the college admissions process. The topics build a foundation of knowledge that prepares the scholar for the Senior Program. Meetings typically include a short activity with time for questions and discussion. Crosby Club meetings are group meetings and therefore are not rescheduled unless the school is closed or after-school activities are canceled by the school. Please register in the Crosby student portal. If you later find that you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration.
