HIGH SCHOOL COLLEGE TOUR: Duke University and Guilford College

College Tour Information – July 23, 2026

Rising 10th through 12th graders! Join Crosby Scholars for a FREE, one‑day college tour to Duke University and Guilford College on Thursday, July 23, 2026. This trip gives students the chance to explore different college environments and begin envisioning themselves in college. There will be a college admissions presentation and tour of campus. Transportation, lunch, and snacks are included.

Parents/guardians must complete this form to confirm participation and grant permission. Students may not attend without a completed form. Please monitor email for confirmation and additional information.

College Tour Campuses

  • Duke University (Durham, NC): Private research university with a campus tour and college admissions presentation.
  • Guilford College (Greensboro, NC): Private liberal arts college with a strong community focus, offering a campus tour and presentation from the admissions office.

Transportation

  • Charter bus provided by Crosby Scholars
  • Pick‑Up & Drop‑Off Location:
    Goodwill Career Connections Center
    124 Fourth Crescent Place, Statesville, NC 28625
  • Arrival Time: No later than 7:30 AM
  • Return Time: Approximately 7:30 PM
  • Students must remain with the group all day.

Tentative Schedule

  • 7:30 AM – Depart Statesville
  • 10:00–11:30 AM – Duke University Tour
  • 12:00 PM – Lunch at Duke (provided)
  • 2:30–4:00 PM – Guilford College Tour
  • Snacks provided on return trip
  • 7:30 PM – Estimated Return Time
