Academy for Senior Parents – Surviving your Child’s Freshman Year

Academy for Senior Parents – Surviving your Child’s Freshman Year will be on 4/8/19 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Goodwill Workforce Development Center, 124 Fourth Crescent Place, Statesville

Sending your child off to college can be stressful for any parent. Dealing with the world your child now lives in is so different and can create frustration and anxiety. This session will help you understand the rules for this new game of life. What you learn will help you navigate your child’s first year of college so that it’s exciting and stress free for everyone.

This academy is for parents of Crosby Scholars seniors. Students do not need to attend. This academy does not count toward the 2 Senior academies requirement. BUT your senior will register for you on your behalf through their Crosby Scholars portal.
