Crosby Scholars offers a unique college access program for middle and high school students enrolled in public schools in Iredell County.
Iredell County Crosby Scholars’ purpose is to prepare middle and high school students academically, financially, and personally for successful college admission. Free resources and training include career exploration, college tours, SAT/ACT test prep, access to financial advisors, FAFSA assistance, and essay reviews.
Students also volunteer in the community, agree to remain drug-free and obey school rules and regulations.
Our goal is to assist students in choosing a post-secondary program that is the "best-fit" for them. This might be a two-year technical program, or transfer program at a community college. It could be a certificate program at a trade school or community college. It might be to a private liberal arts college or a public research university in or out of North Carolina. We understand that every student is unique and needs a plan that fits their goals, skills, and interests.
Crosby Scholars alumni even have the opportunity for scholarships during their college career, including Last Dollar Grants.
Our vision: College opportunities for every student.
