Try It Tuesday – Explore the Legal System (Law Enforcement, County Jail, and Public Defender’s Office)

Ever wonder what it takes to be an attorney?  A judge? Considering a career in the criminal justice field?  If so, this Try-it-Tuesday is for you!

We’ll start the day with brunch/lunch, and then take a tour of the Iredell County Hall of Justice/Courthouse from noon to 1pm. We will hear from an attorney (Iredell County Public Defender’s Office), a judge, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions about careers in law.  From there we walk over to the Iredell County Jail and Detention Center for a tour and questions about the criminal law process, along with information about jobs in other areas of the criminal justice system.
