DESCRIPTION:Crosby Scholars encourages students to explore careers and learn about jobs available in the community.  Try-It Tuesday is our series of events held during the summer. \nOur Graphic Design/IT Careers session will be hosted by Mitchell Community College. Twenty students can participate. learning about jobs available here in Iredell County. \nGraphic Design concepts span careers in web development\, media\, digital communication and print communication.  Understanding how to get your message to a customer using more than just words. Technology\, the available tools and careers in this field will be discussed. Learn how to harness technology to succeed in business and beyond. \nThe second part of this session is learning about computers\, programming\, coding\, AI\, network architecture\, etc.  Learn what jobs and careers are available in the information technology field and how can you learn to obtain that dream job. \nAvailable to current (2025-2026) 9th – 12th graders. \nREGISTER IN CROSBY CONNECT! \n
