DESCRIPTION:Crosby Scholars is participating in the Harmony Holiday Parade on December 1.  The first 50 students to sign up and come to the parade will get a free sweatshirt.  When you sign up\, please put your student name and sweatshirt size. \nDrop off Students between 12:30 -1pm at Harmony Elementary School.  We will decorate a trailer and hand out sweatshirts. \nREGISTER FOR THIS EVENT IN SIGN UP GENIUS \n\nPARADE ROUTE/PARKING/STUDENT DROP-OFF & PICK-UP: \nStreets close at 1:30 PM and parade begins at 2 PM (all of Hwy 21 will be blocked off in both directions) \nParade Route: Harmony Elementary to Rosewood Assisted Living Home  –  Hwy 21 \nDrop-Off/Pick-Up: Rosewood Assisted Living Home – HWY 21 – We have no way of knowing what order we will be in the parade.  We suggest you drop off your student and then make your way to the pick up location prior to the roads closing.  This way you will be at the end of the parade when we arrive. \nPlease Note: Timing is contingent on our place in the parade.  We will not know that until the day of the parade.  Please be patient as we work through all of the details.  We are trying to make sure we participate in parades all over the county and this year we have selected a parade in Northern Iredell County.  You will earn Community Service Hours for participating.

DESCRIPTION:Join us to tour 2 campuses in one day! We will see Wingate University in the morning\, followed by UNC-Charlotte in the afternoon. FREE and open to rising 7th-9th grade students.  Lunch and transportation are included! \nThe Crosby group tour is a great way to learn about higher education and picture yourself in college someday.\n\n\nWingate is a small\, private university located southeast of Charlotte. They offer a special scholarship each year specifically for students who participate in Crosby Scholars!\nUniversity of North Carolina at Charlotte is a large\, public/state school located in Charlotte. UNC-Charlotte is the 3rd largest school in North Carolina\, after NC State and Chapel Hill!\n\nWe will provide charter bus transportation with a pick up and drop off location at the Goodwill Workforce Development Center in Statesville at 7:45am and 4:30pm\, or The Brawley School in Mooresville at 8:15am and 3:45pm. Students can choose which location to board the Charter Bus\, but must notify zharding@crosbyscholarsiredell.org of any changes to their preferred location by July 7th.\n\n\nPlease monitor your email (including over the summer) to confirm your spot on the tour and complete the required waiver!\n\nREGISTER HERE!
