DESCRIPTION:Join us on June 22nd (10am-3pm) to explore careers in aviation at the Statesville Airport! This awesome day will dive into a variety of careers related to aircraft and flight — ranging from pilot\, airplane mechanic\, helicopter or drone operator\, and SO MUCH MORE! Careers in aviation require a wide range of education\, from trade school training or a two-year degree to advanced degrees and beyond\, so there’s something for everyone. This event will be HANDS-ON\, and we will get up close and personal with all things aviation! Open to rising 7th\, 8th\, and 9th graders. \nYou won’t want to miss this amazing experience. Transportation will be provided from central locations in Mooresville and Statesville\, and all students will receive lunch during the event. DESCRIPTION:Save the date for our Arts Career Trek July 13th (time TBD) to explore careers in the arts! This event will be held in collaboration with Mooresville Arts and two local art galleries in downtown Mooresville. \nIs it possible to have a reliable and stable career as an artist in Iredell County? The answer might surprise you! Come find out about local organizations and artists that are doing just that. This event will be upbeat\, interactive\, and a whole lot of fun! Scholars will also complete a small art project during this event. Open to rising 7th\, 8th\, and 9th graders. Transportation will be provided from a central location in Statesville\, or students can be dropped off directly to the Arts Depot in downtown Mooresville. All students will receive lunch during the event.
