DESCRIPTION:Join us to tour two campuses in one day! We will see Lenoir-Rhyne University in the morning\, followed by the NC School of Science and Math in Morganton in the afternoon. FREE and open to rising 7th-9th grade students.  Lunch and transportation are included! \nThe Crosby group tour is a great way to learn about higher education and picture yourself in college someday. \n\n\nLenoir Rhyne is a relatively small\, private university in Hickory\, NC. Many Crosby alumni have chosen to attend LR!\nNCSSM is a residential\, honors high school for juniors and seniors with a focus in STEM. High-achieving students can apply during their sophomore year to attend NCSSM.\n\nWe will provide charter bus transportation with a pick up and drop off location at The Brawley School in Mooresville and at Statesville Goodwill Workforce Development Center. Students can choose which location to board the Charter Bus\, but must notify zharding@crosbyscholarsiredell.org of any changes to their preferred location by July 22nd for the July 25th event. \n\nRegister by clicking here.

DESCRIPTION:Crosby Scholars is participating in the Harmony Holiday Parade on December 1.  The first 50 students to sign up and come to the parade will get a free sweatshirt.  When you sign up\, please put your student name and sweatshirt size. \nDrop off Students between 12:30 -1pm at Harmony Elementary School.  We will decorate a trailer and hand out sweatshirts. \nREGISTER FOR THIS EVENT IN SIGN UP GENIUS \n\nPARADE ROUTE/PARKING/STUDENT DROP-OFF & PICK-UP: \nStreets close at 1:30 PM and parade begins at 2 PM (all of Hwy 21 will be blocked off in both directions) \nParade Route: Harmony Elementary to Rosewood Assisted Living Home  –  Hwy 21 \nDrop-Off/Pick-Up: Rosewood Assisted Living Home – HWY 21 – We have no way of knowing what order we will be in the parade.  We suggest you drop off your student and then make your way to the pick up location prior to the roads closing.  This way you will be at the end of the parade when we arrive. \nPlease Note: Timing is contingent on our place in the parade.  We will not know that until the day of the parade.  Please be patient as we work through all of the details.  We are trying to make sure we participate in parades all over the county and this year we have selected a parade in Northern Iredell County.  You will earn Community Service Hours for participating.

UNC-Charlotte is the 3rd largest school in North Carolina\, after NC State and Chapel Hill!\n\nWe will provide charter bus transportation with a pick up and drop off location at the Goodwill Workforce Development Center in Statesville at 7:45am and 4:30pm\, or The Brawley School in Mooresville at 8:15am and 3:45pm. DESCRIPTION:We will have an Early College Information Session this Thursday at 7pm for parents and students. The session will feature Mamie Houston\, the Early College Liaison for Crossroads. Mamie will share information about all 3 “Early College” High Schools in Iredell County.\n\nWhat is the Early College program?\n-The Early Colleges are specialized high schools where students complete both their high school diploma and Associate’s degree during their high school years. Students complete an honors-level curriculum in a smaller learning environment. All college-level courses are offered in partnership with Mitchell. There are 3 Early Colleges in Iredell County: ASEC\, CCTL\, and Crossroads.\n\nWho can apply for the Early Colleges?\n-Students typically apply during their 8th grade year. Ideal students aren’t required to have straight A’s\, but need to have a strong work ethic. Any student living within Iredell County can apply (not just Iredell-Statesville Schools students).\n\nStudents and parents are invited to the information session this Thursday to learn more about the Early College programs and get their questions answered.
