DESCRIPTION:Crosby Scholars encourages students to explore careers and learn about jobs available in the community. Try-It Tuesday is our series of events held during the summer. This session will be hosted by Detroit Speed & Engineering. 20 students can participate and they will learn about jobs available right here in Iredell County. \nDetroit Speed & Engineering (DSE) is a nationally known automotive engineering and manufacturing company based in Mooresville\, North Carolina. They specialize in designing and building high-performance suspension systems\, chassis components\, and complete custom vehicles for classic and modern muscle cars. Their Mooresville facility functions as a design center\, manufacturing shop\, and custom build operation. \nCareer paths: engineering\, sales and marketing\, manufacturing\, welding\, and fabrication.

This trip gives students the chance to explore different college environments and begin envisioning themselves in college. There will be a college admissions presentation and tour of campus. Transportation\, lunch\, and snacks are included. \nREGISTER HERE! \nPermission Required \nParents/guardians must complete this form to confirm participation and grant permission. Students may not attend without a completed form.
