Requirements of the Crosby Scholars program vary by grade level, however, all include:

  • Be enrolled in a public middle or high school in Iredell County 
  • Abide by the terms of the Partnership Agreement by demonstrating good citizenship in school and in the community
  • Attend one Crosby Scholar Academy (2-hour workshop) each school year
  • Complete and document at least 2 hours of community service each school year by submitting a Crosby Scholars community service form by the annual deadline
  • Follow all school rules and not be out-of-school suspended
  • Participate in random drug testing (high school scholars only)
  • Attend a college fair as a sophomore, junior, OR senior
  • Participate in other mandatory requirements as assigned by grade level

Participants of Crosby Scholars are part of a partnership that also includes parents and the program itself.  As part of enrollment, each Crosby Scholar and a parent agrees to abide by a partnership agreement which outlines the responsibilities for each group.
